Operations and maintenance

Custom software is not finished on launch day. Keeping the systems we build running is a separate part of the work — and in most projects it is the part that makes the difference.

What sets us apart

We build it, set it up and run it.

Custom software is not finished on launch day: operating systems, libraries and connected services keep changing, and the application needs regular care. A support contract makes that care predictable — updates, security patches, monitoring and technical support you can reach whenever you need it.

You can rent the infrastructure from us as well: your application runs on our rental servers together with backup, monitoring and mail infrastructure. If you prefer your own servers, we set it up and maintain it there.

A flow that uses AI asks a little more of operations: a cost ceiling, a log of what it produced and a regular sample check. We set those up from the start; what it costs and how reliably the system reads are both in the monthly report.

Build, deploy and ongoing operation under a support contract

Why it is not finished

The operating system is updated, libraries jump a version, a connected service changes its interface, a certificate expires. None of it is your fault, all of it becomes your problem.

An unmaintained system rarely fails all at once; it slowly becomes unreliable. First a small error, then a security hole, finally software nobody wants to touch.

What the support contract covers

We tie maintenance to a plan rather than to guesswork. The scope is in writing from the start:

01

Updates and security patches

Operating system, runtime and libraries are updated on a schedule. Security patches run in their own lane, without waiting.

02

Monitoring and alerting

Is the system up, is it slowing down, is it producing errors — this is watched continuously. When something breaks, we hear about it before you do.

03

Backup and restore

Backups run regularly and restores are rehearsed. An untested backup is not a backup.

04

Technical support

Someone to ask who knows the system. You talk to the team that built the software.

The monthly report shows what was done, how long the system was available and anything that needs attention.

Where it runs

If you rent our servers: they are in Germany and the data stay within the EU.

If you already run your own infrastructure, your own server is usually the better choice. The decision is yours; the same contract applies either way.

Let us start with a discovery.

Tell us, we will listen. Discovery is short and paid; at the end you hold the process map, scope and budget range. If we conclude that an off-the-shelf tool would do the job, we will say so just as plainly.
